I wish to bring to your attention that our school would like to twine with any shool in America that may have an interest to do so with a School in Africa.

The name of the Primary School is Kashinda and it is situated in the remote Northern part of Mporokoso District in Northern Province of Zambia.

It has a population of 500 pupils of which 390 are girls and the rest are boys. This enrolment is shared against 11 teachers. The school runs on a single stream from grades 1 to 9 and it has only 7 classrooms.

Our prime interest is to allow our children in the remote village to get exporsed to the outside world by way of making freindship with stundents in the developed world.

Kindly help us to look for such a school.

In Virginia, cities are entirely separate entities from counties; they have different governments, different law enforcement agencies, different school systems, different tax collection systems. They are completely different, with each providing identical services for citizens that rarely overlap or are shared.

The city of Alexandria has a single public high school--T.C. Williams. West Potomac, Mt. Vernon, Edison, and Hayfield are all Fairfax County schools, and none are within the limits of the City of Alexandria. The confusion here is due to the vagaries of USPS addressing, which does not always follow along with municipal boundaries. I live in Fairfax County, in the Edison HS district, but my mailing address is "Alexandria."

TJ's eligibility page, http://www.tjhsst.edu/abouttj/admissions/eligibility.php, says that only residents of the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, and Prince William and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church are eligible to attend.
